Donald Woolman, 86, of Parsons, a former longtime Pittsburg resident and a retired teacher and professor at Pittsburg State University, died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Labette Health in Parsons.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Erie Federated Church. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Fort Scott National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Erie.
