She was born on Jan. 20, 1988, in Lamar, Mo., to Charles and Melissa (Stidham) Mellington.
She had worked as a nurse’s aide.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Charles and Sharon Mellington of Mound Valley; her mother, Melissa Stidham of Olathe; a daughter, Leanna Henson of Mound Valley; a brother, Chet Mellington of Mound Valley; and her grandparents, Ron and Martha Andrews of Marshfield, Mo., and Lois Blake of Overland Park.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mound Valley Cemetery under the direction of Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
