CHETOPA — Barbara Joan Fish, 79, of Chetopa died at 7:05 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at Chetopa Manor.

She was born Sept. 7, 1932, in Vinita, Okla., to Edwin and Pearl Ina (Hays) Dow. She formerly worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons.

She married Edward H. Fish on Sept. 15, 1960, in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death June 17, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Michael Bryant of Chetopa; a daughter, Robin Polk of Chetopa; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Community Bible Church in Chetopa.
