CHETOPA — B. Nadine “Deany” Herridge, 87, of Chetopa died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1924, in Chetopa to George Willis and Bertha Alice (Turnbough) Kepford.

She worked for Hertzler Clinic in Wichita as a receptionist.

She married Lester Herridge on July 15, 1944. They later divorced.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Herridge of Valley Center and Joe Herridge of Wichita; a daughter, Leslie Hirschfeld of Mulvane; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jesse Kepford of Chetopa.

She was preceded in death by six brothers; three sisters; a son, Richard Herridge; and a grandson, Aaron Hirschfeld.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Community Bible Church in Chetopa. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.
