ROGERS, Ark. — Emilie Suzanne Bohannon, 37, of Rogers, Ark., died on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, in Springfield, Mo.

Emilie was born on March 24, 1974, in Attica, Kan., to Doyle Michael and Cinda Lynn (Braman) Thompson. She graduated from Parsons High School in 1992. She graduated in 1999 from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.

She married Jason Bohannon on Jan. 26, 2002. He survives of the home.

She was a veterinarian working in Lawrence, Kan., and St. Louis Park, Minn., and an esthetician before starting a family. At that time, she decided to stay home and raise their three children and worked part time from home.

She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Rogers.

Other survivors include three children, Ella Michal Bohannon, Miller Jason Bohannon and Brooks Cross Bohannon, all of the home; her mother, Cinda Thompson of Parsons; her father, Doyle “Mike” Thompson and his wife, Sharon, of Coffeyville; and a sister, Aimee Weaver of Overland Park.

The funeral Mass will be at 4 p.m. Friday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church with Monsignor David LeSieur officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth Street, Rogers, Ark.

In lieu of flowers, Emilie’s wishes were memorials to St. Vincent dePaul Society, 1416 West Poplar, Rogers, AR 72758.
