He was born in Pasadena, Texas, to Johnston and Delores (Gorman) Lucky. He grew up in Golden Acres in Pasadena, where he attended school and received his high school education.
After high school, Lynn worked for Don Love for many years doing construction.
Survivors include five daughters, Twana Willburn of Houston, Sherry Jones of Crosby, Texas, Crystal Lucky of La Port, Texas, Carrie Divin of Orchard, Texas, and Jenny Lucky of Edna; two brothers, Richard Dumas of Boston Spa, N.Y., and L.D. Lucky of Highlands, Texas; two sisters, Roberta Dollison of Independence and Donna Howell of Edna; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville was in charge of cremation. There is no service scheduled.
