OSWEGO — Arline C. McBeth, 75, of Oswego died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1935, in Rockport, Mo., to LeRoy and Thelma (Angel) Muntz. She grew up in Pomona, Calif., and graduated from Pomona High School.

On Feb. 5, 1954, she married Richard McBeth Sr. in Pomona, Calif. They were divorced in June 1960.

Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Cunningham of Oswego and Sandy Woods of Joplin; a son, Richard McBeth Jr. of Labette City; two brothers, William Muntz of Oswego and Luther Muntz of California; two granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, LeRoy Muntz Jr.; two sisters, Betty J. Coons and Dorothy L. Craig; and a grandson, Aaron S. McBeth.

After cremation, no services are planned. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery at a later date. Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, is in charge of arrangements.
