ST. PAUL — Bill John Caswell, 60, of St. Paul died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at his home in St. Paul.
He was born at Tyro on April 26, 1951, to Kenneth and Mina (Long) Caswell.
He served his country in the Air Force from 1973 to 1976.
Bill worked as a welder for Beachner Construction for 25 years.
On Feb. 21, 1981, he married Sara Ward in Neodesha. She survives.
Other survivors include his children, Jeremy L. Caswell and his wife, Johnna, Sabrina M. Bonine and her husband, Cliff, Billie J. Carter and her husband, Mark, Ricky L. Caswell and Shannon J. Caswell; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Ben Caswell, Claudis Dhooge and her husband, Marvin, Laura Lumley and her husband, Richard, and Kenneth Caswell and his wife, Linda.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mina Kay “Sissy” Caswell; two brothers, Ronald and Fredrick Caswell; and his grandson, Mark Allen Carter III.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul United Methodist Church in St. Paul. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Memorials in his name may be made to the family for a headstone and may be left with the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel in Chanute.
