He is survived by his wife, Ruth Lavender, of the home.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Altamont. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont. Friends may call at their convenience after 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
