He was born on Dec. 27, 1915, in Dallas to Robert and Beulah (Allsup) McKee in Dallas.
He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1934.
He was a self-employed farmer. He was a township farm representative to the Douglas County Extension Council.
Survivors include his cousins, Dwight Allsup of Sterling and Jean Ann Kibbe of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Elbert McKee.
Cremation has taken place. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Ruhamah Baptist Church in Rantoul and may be sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, 67502.
