Jonathan R. Natt Jr., 11, of Parsons died early Wednesday morning, June 8, 2011, in the Emergency Room at Labette Health.  His death was unexpected.

He was born July 17, 1999, in Parsons to Jonathan R. Natt Sr. and Donna Kendrick. He grew up in Parsons where he attended Guthridge Elementary School and had recently completed sixth grade at Parsons Middle School.

He was a member of the Macedonia Soul Winning Ministry, where he participated in the choir. He also enjoyed fishing, tumbling, playing video games, spending time outdoors and listening to Michael Jackson. 

Survivors include his mother, Donna Kendrick of Parsons; his father, Jonathan R. Natt Sr. of Parsons; a brother, Zion Natt of the home; four sisters, Meshia Kendrick, Zakia Natt, both of the home, Nyesha Natt and Nykira Buck, both of Parsons; a maternal grandmother, Rose Anderson of Parsons; paternal grandparents, Carla and James Graves of Rayville, La.; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Graves of Monroe, La.; an aunt and uncle, Sean Anderson Sr. and Symona Kendrick and children, Sean Anderson Jr., Sanya Anderson and Syyana Anderson, all of Parsons; an uncle, Alton Natt of Parsons; and two aunts, Katrina Natt and Rhonda Natt, both of Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Donald Anderson.

The service will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
