Brenda L. Nelson, 53, of Parsons died at 4:57 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Labette Health. She had been in failing health. Her husband, Dan Nelson, survives of the home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the church. The family will receive friends following the rosary at the parish hall.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 112 N. 26th St., P.O. Box 942, Parsons, 67357.
