He was born March 16, 1912, in Agra, Okla., to Edward and Mary (Ternes) Wilkins. He grew up in Cherryvale and graduated from Cherryvale High School.
He married Helen Botts on June 26, 1939, in Arkansas. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2006.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia L. Tuggle and Marilyn M. Jones, both of Cherryvale; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nadine Taylor of Baltimore.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Potts Chapel in Cherryvale. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Cherryvale. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
