She was born the youngest daughter of six children on July 14, 1932, in Kansas City, Mo., to Anthony and Carmela (Muccio) Baccala. She grew up and attended Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception grade school and high school, both in Kansas City, Mo.
She worked as a barber in Kansas City for many years before moving to Kansas in 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina Stewart; three grandchildren, Carrie Titus of Dennis and Michael Vick and Jessica Vick, both of Paducah, Ky.; four great-grandchildren, Mandy Forkner, Blake Morgan, Sierra Brannon and Nic Beyer; and five nieces and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Following cremation, the family will have a private memorial service at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City later this summer. Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Parsons, was in charge of local arrangements.
