OSWEGO — Nadine Loree Wilson, 82, of Oswego died Friday March 18, 2011, at Deseret Nursing Home and Rehab in Oswego.

Nadine was born on March 2, 1929, in Sherman City to Adrian and Lenona (Jones) Woods. She attended Sherman Grade School and West Mineral High School.

She married Homer Walker on July 9, 1944, at Erie. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1987.

She married Jack Wilson on Dec. 11, 1988, at Sherman Baptist Church. He survives of the home.

Nadine was employed for 34 years at Oswego Manor nursing home and three years after retiring at Oswego Home Place.

She was a 65-year member of Sheridan Homemaking Club. She went 31 years to Brumley Gospel Sing in Springdale, Ark. Nadine was an active person. She enjoyed traveling and spent 11 winters in Texas after retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Oswego and also loved the little church at Sherman where she worshiped most of her life.

Other survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Rhoads and her husband, Milton, of Las Vegas and Regina Hubler and her husband, Wayne, of Knoxville, Iowa; a son-in-law, John Marietta of Pittsburg; a stepson, Rick Wilson and his wife, Melanie, of Oswego; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Donelson and her husband, Gary, of Dennis; three brothers, Donald Woods and his wife, Rose Marie, of Cherryvale, Floyd Woods and his wife, Dixie, of Pittsburg and Lloyd Woods and his wife, Joyce, of Port Arkansas, Texas; a sister, Paula Woods of Pittsburg; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Marietta, in 2008; a brother, Joe Woods in 2002; a 3-year-old sister in 1937; her mother in 1934; her father in 1974; and her stepmother, Margaret Woods in 2003.

The celebration of life ceremony will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Oswego. The family invites friends to come early at 2 p.m. to visit. The body has been cremated.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in Oswego or Sherman Baptist Church.
