PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Marjorie J. Brandt, 90, died Friday, April 15, 2011.

She was born on Jan. 10, 1921, in Parsons a daughter of Patrick and Mary E. (McNerney) Forbes.

She was an avid Ohio Buckeye football fan and was proud of her Irish heritage.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Kay Sturbois, with whom she made her home in Pickerington, Ohio, and Patricia Lombardo of Mount Vernon, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Susan Brandt of Pickerington; grandchildren, Michael (Colleen) Brandt of Westerville, Ohio, Joseph (Allison) Lombardo of Chicago, Krista Kuhner of Dublin, Ohio, Jodi (Ray) Heskett of Pickerington, Ohio, Angela Lombardo of Denver, Jon Kruszewski of Mentor-on-the-Lake, Ohio, and Nicholas Brandt of Columbus, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Will and Clare Heskett, Connor, Jack and Erin Brandt, Mirela and Henry Lombardo; a brother-in-law, Bob Andrews of Albuquerque, N.M.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John L. Brandt; a son, John P. Brandt; as well as five brothers; and five sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Seton Parish Catholic Church in Pickerington, Ohio. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio.

The family thanks Dr. Robert Sears, Mount Carmel Hospice, Jennifer Madison and friends who were so supportive during her final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice in her memory.

Egan-Ryan Funeral Home East Chapel of Columbus, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.
