ST. MICHAELS, Md. — Edward Adam Hammann, 72, of St. Michaels, Md., formerly of Martinsburg, W.V., died on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at his home.

He was the husband of Ann (Bradt) Hammann, who formerly lived in Parsons and graduated from Parsons High School in 1962. She came to Parsons with her parents in the 1950s. Her father, Francis Bradt, was the manager of the Parsonian Hotel.

Mr. Hammann had a 33-year career with the 3M company, first at the headquarters in St. Paul, Minn., and later at the New York branch, where he was manager.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ann; three daughters; six grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.

The service will be at 11 a.m. today at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Martinsburg. The military graveside service will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Martinsburg.
