MOUND VALLEY — Norma L. Hines, 76, of Mound Valley died at 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011, at her home. She had been in failing health.

She was born on April 23, 1934, in Mound Valley to Kenneth Leroy and Anna Mary (Goodnight) Beeson. She grew up and attended school near Mound Valley.

She worked as an emergency room technician for 14 years at Mercy Hospital until retiring.

Survivors include three sons, Jeff Vincen of Independence and Tony Vincen and Brian Vincen, both of Cherryvale; two daughters, Sherry Moses of Cherryvale and Carla Shull of Mound Valley; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Dee Kellenberger of Jetmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont. Following cremation, the family will have a private committal service at a later date.
