Patricia E. “Pat” Glazner, 66, a former Parsons resident, died at 2:51 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Quaker Hill Manor in Lowell, where she had resided since December 2008.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1944, at Nevada, Mo., to Richard Irwin and Roberta Pearl (Watson) Judd. She grew up at Parsons and attended area schools, graduating from Labette County Community High School in Altamont.

She worked as a nurse’s aide for hospitals in Denison, Texas, and at Labette County Medical Center from 1998 to 2003.

She married Bobby Eugene Strong on July 8, 1962, at Parsons. They later divorced.

She married Jerry Glazner in 1997. They later divorced.

She enjoyed riding dirt bikes and motorcycles and going to Lake Texoma in Denison with family.

Survivors include four sons, Clinton Strong of Norton, Tobias “Toby” Strong of Baxter Springs, Richard Strong of Sherman, Texas, and Andrew Strong of Denison, Texas; eight grandchildren; her mother, Roberta Pearl Watson-West of Nevada, Mo.; a brother, Bobby Keggress of Nevada, Mo.; two sisters, Cathy Brunk of Kansas City, Kan., and Brenda Hughes of Pittsburg; several aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and a stepmother, Edna MayBelle Judd.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Light Church at Denison. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. April 2 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Dennis. Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Parsons, is in charge of arrangements.
