She was born April 17, 1921, in Pittsburg to Walter and Josephine (Mohre) Rudolph. She attended schools in Frontenac and was a 1939 graduate of Frontenac High School.
Marie married Leon Jursche on July 17, 1942, in Ocean View, Va. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2010.
She was a sales clerk working for JC Penney for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Frontenac United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Maggie Ryan of Ottawa; a niece, Frieda Brigs of Albuquerque, N.M.; and a nephew, Donald J. Morettini of Pleasanton, Calif.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, JoAnne.
According to her wishes, Marie has been taken for cremation. No services are planned. Inurnment will be at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
