Theresa was born on Jan. 18, 1964, to Della LaDean (Babb) Miller and Victor James Miller Sr. in Parsons. They preceded her in death.
Her daily pleasures included her indulgence of all her family and friends. She lived for the children in her family and blessed them with her unconditional love and understanding. Her special gift of love and kindness will live in the hearts of all forever.
In her last days at home with her family, the saying, which she had originally started, was, “The question is, do you love me?” and her answer was “ALWAYS.” It will eternally be imprinted in the hearts and souls of her family and friends “ALWAYS.”
She was married to Michael Savage on Sept. 20, 1989, and was divorced July 2004. They had a daughter, Stephanie Darlene Savage, who departed this life at birth on June 22, 2000.
She grew up and attended school in Parsons. She moved to Oklahoma and Texas for brief periods of her life and had resided in Reno, Nev., with her sister, Mitzi, and family for the last 4 1/2 years.
She is survived by her siblings, Desiree Byrd and her husband, Kenny, of Wann, Okla., Mitzi Drumm and her husband, Dennis, of Reno, Nev., Lora Hawkins of Freemont, Neb., Yvonne Price of Sidney, N.Y., and Victor Miller Jr., Lanie George and her husband, Mike, Judy Swafford, Mia Swafford and her husband, Mark, all of Parsons. She was treasured by her 17 nephews and nieces, Patrick, Kenneth, Amy, Jayme, Aaron, Brandy, Heidi, Vanessa, Jason, Justin, Jenifer, David, Nathan, Timmy, Christopher, Crystal and Brandon. She had 24 great-nieces and great-nephews she adored and spoiled. She had one great-great-niece.
Her humor and innocence will long be reminisced in days to come.
Theresa attended Crosspoint Community Church in Reno, Nev. She was baptized and dedicated herself to the Lord in September 2010.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Crosspoint Community Church at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Her final resting place will be at Valley Cemetery in Parsons on March 27. Time and details for a Parsons services will be announced later.
