She was born July 4, 1959, in Quenemo to "Buck" and JoAnn E. (Wilks) Green. She moved to Parsons as a teenager and attended Parsons schools.
Through the years, she worked as an emergency medical technician until becoming disabled.
She attended the Glory Barn in Parsons. She enjoyed spending time with her dog, "Sissy," and making ceramics.
She married Charlie Negrete in 1975. They later divorced.
Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly Hernandez of Parsons, Jessica Ramsey and her husband, Mike, of Parsons and Rebecca Zinn and her husband, Rodney, of Wichita; seven grandchildren, Larissa, Kaitlyn Atticus, Keegan, Isabella, Rylan and Michael Jr.; a brother, Scott Rose of Louisburg; a sister, Elizabeth Green of Parsons; and her dog, "Sissy."
She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Rose; a brother, Roger Green; and a half brother, Joe Green.
Following cremation, there will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
