The Labette County High School junior varsity softball team hosted Chanute Monday evening in Altamont for a doubleheader. The Lady Grizzlies defeated Chanute 5-1 and 7-3. The St. Patrick Catholic School track and field team competed in the 506 Invitational meet Monday afternoon. The team had two first-place finishes, one each in boys and girls. The Parsons High School fishing club hosted an open fishing tourney for high school students at Bone Creek Lake Saturday morning.
