PARSONS — The Labette Community College softball team got its 20th victory of the season Friday with a sweep of the Hesston Larks. The 20-win plateau comes more than two weeks earlier than 2010. Twenty-one anglers braved pre-front conditions and a strong prevailing wind as District 58 of the American Bass Anglers held its third tournament for the 2011 season recently on Big Hill Lake.
