Fuentez wins third-straight city golf title
Tony Fuentez won his third-straight City Golf Championship on Sunday by shooting a two under par 70 at the Katy Golf Club. Mark Ludwig finished second. Ludwig fired a one over 71 on Saturday at Parsons Golf and Fitness and held a six stroke lead over Fuentez going into Sunday. However, a front nine six over saw his lead vanish. 1. LCC volleyball falls to Butler
The Labette Community College volleyball team lost to eighth-ranked Butler on Wednesday, as the hosts beat the Cardinals 25-12, 25-10, 25-15. Labette is now 2-17 on the season. Butler improved to 18-3. No stats were available to the Sun. LCC is scheduled to host Hesston on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
