LCC players named to all-conference team
Two members of the Labette Community College men’s basketball team were listed on the 2012-13 All Jayhawk East Team. Anthony Elechi was a second team all-league selection. The 6-8 freshman averaged 11 points and eight rebounds per game. LCC sophomore point guard Eddie Williams was an honorable mention team all-Jayhawk East pick. LCC baseball drops two of three to Coffeyville
The Coffeyville Red Ravens took two of three from the Labette Community College baseball team over the weekend. The teams split a doubleheader on Friday and Coffeyville won on Saturday before the series finale was postponed due to the wet weather. The final contest of the four-game series will be resumed on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Parsons with Coffeyville leading 6-0 in the fourth inning.
