MORAN — The St. Paul Indians jumped back in the win column with a two-game sweep over Marmaton Valley in Moran Thursday evening. But it wasn’t easy. Tuesday, the Parsons High School junior varsity softball team traveled to Iola for a pair of games. The Vikings tied with Iola 11-11 in game one and won game two 17-5. PHS JV coach Chris Durkin said Shelbi Carpenter and Bree Rogers were solid on the mound, and the Vikings overcame fielding errors in game one.
