KSHSAA releases new classifications
The 2012-13 Kansas State High School Activities Association classifications were released on Thursday. None of the Parsons-area schools were affected. There were no changes in the SEK League, either. All of the league schools remain in Class 4A. Pittsburg is one of the largest schools in 4A (710). FORT SCOTT — The Parsons High School volleyball team start off league play on a high note. The Vikings swept a pair of matches on Thursday night at Fort Scott. The Vikings defeated Coffeyville 25-10, 25-10 and then got past the host Tigers 26-24, 25-19. The Vikings rallied to beat Fort Scott.
