ARMA — The Oswego Lady Indians fell one win short of a 2A sub-state championship appearance in Arma as they lost to Pleasanton Friday night. Oswego pulled ahead by the end of a low-scoring first quarter 6-5, but Pleasanton scored 19 points in the second and took a 24-12 lead into the break. Oswego scored just two points in the third. The Parsons High School boys basketball team went 3-18 in 2012-13. The season ended with Monday’s loss to Independence. The Vikings had wins over Baxter Springs, Frontenac and Chanute, which was the team’s lone SEK League victory.
