Parsons Wrestling Club holding sign-up day on Saturday
The Parsons Wrestling Club will hold the first of several sign-up days this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Marvel Park Stadium. Kids from 5 to 14 can sign-up. The cost is $50 and parents are asked to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate. There will also be a sign-up day on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9-noon, also at Marvel Park. HESSTON — The inaugural season of girls golf at Labette County High School ended with a trip to the state tournament. The Grizzlies finished the 2012 season, the first in school history, on Monday at the Class 4A State Golf Tournament at Hesston Golf Park.
