HAYS— Cherryvale and Erie athletes competed at the Class 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament over the weekend in Hays. None of the local athletes were able to place. COLONY — With a 52-42 win over Crest on Saturday, the St. Paul High School boys basketball team clinched the Three Rivers League title for 2012-13. KANSAS CITY — The Labette Community College basketball teams dropped both games of a doubleheader on Saturday at Kansas City, Kansas. In the women’s game, KCK defeated Labette 54-36.
