GALENA — Cherryvale gave up good field position early in the game here Friday, and that proved costly for the Chargers. Galena won the non-league contest 25-21. Devon Hestand generated about 170 yards of offense for the Chargers. Galena began the game with a 67-yard drive, scoring on a 24-yards pass play from Hestand to Cody O’Brien.
