Sixteen area boys basketball teams are entered in the annual Better Edna Area Relations and Support (BEARS) Basketball Tournament to be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each weekday evening and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Edna Community Building beginning March 5 through March 10.  Admission is free for uniformed team players and coaches with a $1.00 charge for adults and $.50 for youth age five through eighth-grade. Parsons Wrestling Club splits for two events Saturday
The Parsons Wrestling Club sent 17 wrestlers to Park City to compete in the annual Wichita Classic held at Hartman Arena this weekend. There were 805 wrestlers from 74 different teams competing on Saturday. PWC had two individual champions in the tourney and had seven total placers for the day.
