Parsons at Labette County
The Parsons Vikings headed to Altamont on Friday night to take on the rival LCHS Grizzlies. In the girls game, Labette County won 66-27. In the varsity boys game, Labette defeated Parsons 55-49 in overtime. The Vikings had a five-point lead in the fourth quarter, but could not hold on. Full stories coming soon.

The Parsons High School basketball teams will take on rival Labette County tonight in Altamont. The varsity girls play at 6, with the boys to follow at 8 p.m. The LCHS girls are now 11-6 on the season and 8-2 in the SEK League, which is currently second in the league standings. FORT SCOTT —The Labette Community College women’s basketball team held on late for a 48-46 victory over Fort Scott on Wednesday night at Arnold Arena.
