CHANUTE — The Labette County High School boys tennis team took first place at the Chanute Invitational on Friday. The Grizzlies had eight wins, while host Chanute and Columbus tied for second with seven wins. Iola rounded out the field. OSWEGO —The 2013 Oswego Invitational Track Meet was held on Thursday. In addition to the host Indians, St. Paul and Chetopa were among the other teams competing. Girls St. Paul’s girls took second in the team standings, with Jayhawk-Linn taking first. Jenny O’Bryan won the 1600 (5:55), and the 3200 (12:16) for the Indians.
