St. Paul baseball off to 2-0 start
ARMA — The St. Paul High School baseball team won the Northeast-Arma Tournament last Friday. The Indians defeated Chetopa 15-0 in the first game, and then edged Northeast 12-11 for the championship. The Labette Community College baseball team split four games over the weekend at Independence. The two teams split a doubleheader on Friday, and then split on Saturday in Jayhawk East action. The Labette Community College athletic department will soon have two coaches named Ryan Phillips. Labette Community College has named Ryan Phillips as its new head wrestling coach for the Cardinals.
