OSAWATOMIE — The Parsons High School girls swim team competed at Osawatomie on Wednesday. Shannon Dunlay took fourth place in the 200 IM with a state-consideration time of 2:48. Lady Cardinals named all-conference, Vance is league MVP
Emilee Vance is the Most Valuable Player in the Jayhawk East. A Labette Community College sophomore third baseman, Vance leads a group of seven Lady Cardinals who have earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference softball honors. A Wellsville product, Vance is the Jayhawk East’s MVP and a first team selection at third base. Vance currently has a .450 batting average, with 67 hits in 44 games.
