Reynolds receives South Central Regiona POW for 2nd time
Maxpreps.com recently named Allie Reynolds of Labette County High School its South Central Region Player of the Week. Reynolds also received the honor in April, making her the first and only player to receive this honor twice in 2012. Reynolds earned the award for the week ending May 19. Along with his all-Southeast Kansas League first team bid, Labette County High School senior Hunter Seibert also received an all-Class 4A first team spot from the KABC organization. Seibert hit .522 while scoring 19 runs in 2012. He knocked in 15 runs and had four doubles and two triples. In 69 at-bats this season Seibert struck out just once. Cossou golf benefit
A golf benefit for Lori and Rob Cossou will take place at the Parsons Golf Club on June 23. The Cossou family lost their home and nearly all of their possessions in a flood on the morning of May 1.
