Fort Scott hands Parsons its second loss
Fort Scott didn't mind taking a page out of Parsons' book Tuesday night.
Winning the close ones has been a calling card for the Vikes this season, but in crunch time the Tigers were the better team Tuesday in a 49-44 Fort Scott victory.
The loss is just the second of the season for Parsons, which is now 13-2. It's also the first Southeast Kansas League loss of the year for PHS — putting them 2-1 in league play.

ST. PAUL — The St. Paul Lady Indians struggled on offense on Tuesday night in their matchup with Jayhawk-Linn.

CHERRYVALE — Defense was the key to a Cherryvale Lady Charger victory against Yates Center on Tuesday night.

Parsons Wrestling Club took 19 wrestlers to Pittsburg Saturday to compete in their annual open wrestling tournament.

The Parsons High School wrestling team traveled to Towanda Friday for the 22nd Annual Thunderbird Invitational, a two-day tournament.
