ST. PAUL — The St. Paul Indians couldn’t stop Bishop-Seabury Academy’s top player in a Thursday night 2A substate boys’ basketball game.
St. Paul fell behind early, 10-6 after the opening quarter. By halftime, the Bishop-Seabury Seahawks of Lawrence led 26-17. The Seahawks turned it up a notch in the second half, scoring 44 points for a 70-45 victory.

Chargers fall in double OT Monday
GALENA — The Chargers' season ended Monday evening with a 69-65 double-overtime loss to Galena.

Thatcher Murdock of Parsons High School finished the Class 4A state wrestling tourney at 1-2 over the weekend.
Murdock, a 132-pound senior, advanced to the second day by opening with a 5-3 win over Slade Sare of Abilene.
