EDNA — John R. Foister, 75, of Edna died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Okla.
He was born Jan. 25, 1936, in rural Edna to Jesse and Alta (Hayes) Foister. As a young boy, he grew up in rural Edna where he attended Parkville School and was a 1954 graduate of Edna High School. He worked at John Deere Coffeyville Works as a machinist for 30 years, retiring from there in 1993.

He was born Dec. 10, 1055, in Parsons to Marvin L. and Donna L. (Phillips) Blackburn. He attended the Meadow View School and Labette County High School, graduating in 1973.

CHANUTE — Linda E. Hague, 55, of Chanute died unexpectedly at her home Monday, Aug. 8, 2011.
She was born Dec. 7, 1955, in Medicine Lodge to Jack and Betty (Harmon) Groendyke.
