Chad and Becky Bachman of Hiawatha announce the birth of their son, Colbin Edward. Colbin was born on Aug. 10 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. Colbin was welcomed home by his big brother, Camden, and big sister, Kerragan. Grandparents are John and Bernie Bilderback of Altamont and Ralph and Gayle Bachman of Coffeyville. Student Support Services of Labette Community College recently announced that Precious Beery of Parsons is the Student of the Month for September. She is a non-traditional student working toward a nursing major.
