The Vikings drained a season-high nine 3-pointer baskets and used their shooting touch to pull past LCHS 76-63 Friday evening in Coffeyville in the Class 4A substate being held there. The Vikings will take on host Coffeyville in the finals this evening. The game will begin after the girl's final which features Parsons and Girard and is scheduled for a 6 p.m. tip.

The LCC women improved to 10-19 overall and 5-12 within the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Eastern Division with the 25-point victory. LCC also avenged a 55-50 loss to the Blue Devils earlier this season with the home victory.

The Labette Community College wrestling team is shown. The LCC wrestlers placed first at this year's NJCAA national tourney in Rochester, Minn. over the weekend and finished with two national champions as well as nine All-Americans.
