Students in Misty Russell’s wellness and nutrition class at Parsons High School shared a Thanksgiving feast they helped prepare during the afternoon class Tuesday. The students moved tables together to create seating for 22. Russell said two small turkeys were cooked ahead of time. Students carved the turkeys and prepared other traditional Thanksgiving sides: whipped potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, deviled eggs, rolls and gravy.
