The American Legion Riders Post 170 were honored at Erie High School’s 2012 Veterans Day program for their support of EHS, communities, children at Christmas through their toy runs, provision of scholarships, leading cavalcades during parades and military funeral processions and most recently raising the funds to send 42 World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit the war memorial and for a veterans’ wall in Chanute.
