 Parsons Foursquare Church members provided children the chance to perform some Goliath target practice during Wednesday night’s Trunk or Treat on Broadway Avenue at Forest Park. Parsons Nazarene Church co-sponsored the event with Foursquare.

The state of Kansas requires annual oral exams be provided to students. Exams include screening, fluoride treatment, sealants and cleaning.

The Kaleidoscope Theatre will present the play at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Carnegie, 117 S. 17th. The play combines several fairy tales. General admission tickets will go on sale an hour prior to the shows for $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under.

 The Commercial Bank-sponsored Monster March started about 6 p.m. Thursday in downtown Parsons. Area children dressed as their favorite characters braved a chilly wind to collect candy from participating downtown merchants. Employees created 1,200 bags for the march.
