The Labette Community College wrestling team and coaches were honored with a trip to Topeka last week. The team met with Kansas Governor Sam Brownback and were recognized during house and senate sessions. The 2011-2012 Cardinals wrestling team brought the NJCAA wrestling championship back to Parsons late February. It was the team's second national title. LCC head coach Joe Renfro was also named the NJCAA Coach of the Year this season.
