Request for Quotation for Maintenance on Waste Water Collection System
LABETTE County, Kansas (hereinafter referred to as County) will accept Quotations for 24 hour a day maintenance and emergency repair on the wastewater collection, pumping stations and force main system including individual grinder pump stations for each home and small diameter pressure sewer lines for Labette County Sewer District No. 1 located south and east of Parsons, Kansas.
Competitive sealed Quotations will be received by the Board of County Commissioners on or before the 25th day of January, 2013 at 5:00 o’clock pm in the office of the Labette County Clerk, 501 Merchant, Oswego, KS 67356. All Quotations will be opened by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular meeting on January 28th, 2013 at 9:00 o’clock am.
The following insurance coverage is generally required of vendors providing service:
Workers Compensation Applicable State Statutory, Employers’ Liability 100,000.00
Contractor’s Liability Insurance, Comprehensive General Liability and comprehensive automobile Liability
The County will thoroughly review all proposals received. The County will use its best judgment in determining whether to schedule a pre-proposal conference, before proposals are accepted or meetings with those submitting proposals after receipt of all proposals.
Labette County reserves the right to select, and subsequently award the contract to the proposal that best meets its required needs, quality levels and budget constraints. The lowest priced proposal will not guarantee an award and the County reserves the right to refuse any and all quotation proposals.
