The Southeast KANSASWORKS, Inc. Local Area V (LA V) Workforce Investment Board (WIB) Area Administrative Office (AAO) is releasing a Five (5) Year Draft Local Area Integrated Workforce Plan for the period January 1, 2013-December 31, 2017 as required under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. The Chief Elected Officials Board and LA V Workforce Investment Board will be meeting and provide for public comment, discussion and tentative approval of the plan pending final comments on November 28, 2012 during the Local Workforce Investment Board meeting beginning at Noon, at the Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas. The comment period is from November 14, 2012 to December 14, 2012. All comments must be received by 10:00 AM on December 14, 2012. To view the local plan, please visit the Southeast KANSASWORKS, Inc.
