BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LABETTE COUNTY, KANSAS
Resolution No. 2012-42-L
Resolution Declaring Minimum Maintenance Road
Whereas, the Board of county Commissioners of Labette County, Kansas, adopted Resolution No. 2012-30-L stating that the following described road should be declared a minimum maintenance road, and
Whereas, said resolution was published once in the official County newspaper serving forth a time and place for public comment on whether the following described road should be declared a minimum maintenance road, and
Whereas, on this date, following public comment, it is determined that the following Described road is used only occasionally or only by a few individuals, and that said road was not constructed with Federal aid.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Labette County, Kansas, Pursuant to K.S.A. 68-5, 102 that the following road, to-wit:
Old County Road #423 in the City of Valeda, County of Labette, State of Kansas described as follows:
Beginning at the North Corner of Section 32, Township 34 S, Range 18 E then West approximately 2260 feet to the South right of way of US Hwy 166 aka county road 4000,
is declared a minimum maintenance road.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that within ten (10) days, said road shall be posted “Minimum maintenance, travel at your own risk” in black letters on a yellow background, with the letters at least two (2) inches high.
IT IS SO ORDERED this 20th day of August, 2012.
